  1. Great to be able to welcome Mark back to Kingsclere Methodist Church last Saturday. We had a beautiful evening, supported by some who had joined us for the last concert 2 years’ ago and some newcomers. Mark shares his love of the music so well and even changed his programme slightly once he knew one of the organisers particularly liked a composer. We look forward to welcoming Mark back to our small country church with great acoustics in the future.

  2. We were delighted to welcome Mark back to WItchampton Church for a 3rd visit, which meant we had some ‘old’ fans as well as word of mouth bringing in many more! Mark’s performance was mesmerising – an eclectic mix from Rodrigo to JS Bach – all delivered with some interesting background stories and with perfection.

It was a great evening with everyone so engaged and transported by the wonderful music. Thanks Mark, see you again.

  3. Beautifully taken away to many lands by Marks playing.

Upon taking in his ‘Adedo?’ the room sounded like there were at least four playing at the same time, to open my eyes and see one.

    Wonderful.

Cant wait for the next! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

  4. We were delighted, and so was our audience, to welcome Mark back to Chobham for a second concert at our lovely parish church of St Lawrence, which is a fine setting for such wonderful playing. It was a diverse programme, both in terms of period and of origins, with music including Rodrigo, Albeniz, J. S. Bach and Tarrega. The overriding impression was of losing oneself, for a short time, in an inner land of tranquility and sweetness.

  5. Mark and his guitar take listeners places they didn’t know they could go. Great work, and amazing attention to artistry throughout.

  6. Thank you Mark for your return visit to St Owen’s Church last week. You are definitely on my list of those I have actually met whose skill I admire hugely. Your performance and knowledge of the music and the composers was greatly appreciated by all those present.

    • Greetings Edward!
Thank you so much for inviting me to perform for you all again. I’m also really grateful to you for taking the time to post the review. Thank you!

  7. Mark Jennings is a true master of his craft. He is a guitarist whose playing effortlessly blends technical virtuosity with soulful expression. His command of the instrument is awe-inspiring, navigating complex scales and intricate passages with effortless grace. Yet, he never sacrifices emotion for sheer technicality. Thank you for taking the time to visit Bathurst.

  8. I so enjoyed Mark’s music in Bathurst last evening… treble, bass notes and everything in between calmly played in unison! At times his guitar sounded like a lute, at others like a waterfall. Such a lovely memory to draw on when alone.

  9. Thank you Mark for a wonderful evening of music at St Mary’s Walberton. It was great to welcome you back. Such a joy to hear such a talented performance and wide range of styles. Everyone appreciated the introductions for each piece. We’ve had a lot of enthusiastic and appreciative comments.

  10. Thank you for coming to Stockbridge and performing such a magical evening of guitar classics. The music was spell binding, made even better with your knowledgeable and fascinating introductions. A really great evening – thank you for sharing your talent with us.

  11. What an absolute treat it was to hear Mark play. An incredibly talented player who also tonight, gently engaged with the audience and told a little bit about each piece and composer. Could listen to him all day!

  12. Mark delivered a marvelous performance at St Peter & St Paul’s Cranfield that captivated the audience, making it a thoroughly enjoyable evening for everyone.

  13. Having braved both transport delays and what can only be described as an apocalyptic deluge of rain, Mark arrived a little damp for his recital at St Mary’s, Shackleford on 8th September 2024.

He blessed us with an extremely polished, professional and enthralling performance of his Spirit of Spain repertoire.

His willingness to travel to churches up and down the land to share his consummate skills with us is so commendable.

    Many thanks, indeed, Mark!

  14. Mark played at St Marks Woodcote on 7th September. Members of the audiance are still talking about the concert . It was a privalige to hear him play and such a treat . We will definitely be arranging a return visit.

  15. Mark is a consummate professional who communicates beautifully through his guitar. He delighted a packed St Michael’s Church in Bishop’s Stortford last week. Thanks again Mark for being with us.

  16. Mark came to play at St Mary’s Church, Hayes, Kent last night. What a fantastic musician. The whole audience loved his performance. Fabulous and highly recommended 🙂

  17. What a treat it was to hear Mark’s wonderful playing. It was such a pleasure to have such an accomplished guitarist play at St Neots Parish Church. From pieces by Bach to Spanish classics, our audience loved it. Thank you Mark. We hope you will come back!

  18. We had the privilege of listening to Mark’s guitar last week, in Christ Church, South Nutfield. It was beautiful music and very atmospheric in the quiet space of the stone and wood church. I would heartily recommend him to anyone considering attending a concert.

  19. What a wonderful evening listening to Mark Jennings and his guitar. During my 85 years I have enjoyed listening to many kinds of music but never classical guitar. The best I can say is take every opportunity to attend one of Mark’s performances and let his guitar tell its story and you will leave wanting more.

  20. Thank you for a lovely performance at St Owen’s Church, Bromham. We loved your interpretation of some of our favourite guitar pieces. We hope to have the opportunity to hear you play again.

  21. Mark held us all spellbound at St Michael’s Woburn Sands with the range and beauty of sound be produced from just six strings and with only two hands. A lovely Spanish-themed programme with some old favourites, and also much that was new to us.
